Semi-permanent pigments are usually blue, red or grey and need different wavelengths from black tattoos; Wells uses picosecond lasers covering every colour and depth. Because only abnormal pigment is targeted, the risk of scarring, hypertrophic marks or discolouration is low.
Light or simple black and blue work clears fastest. Work done by non-specialists sometimes leaves marks that take longer — bring it to a dermatologist first.
