Picosecond toning at 1064 nm and 755 nm — pulses 1,000 times shorter than laser toning.

Treatment room with laser device, Wells Clinic

Pico toning delivers strong peak power in a very short pulse, breaking abnormal pigment into finer particles with less heat to surrounding skin. It treats melasma, age spots (lentigo), nevus of Ota and ABNOM.

Dr. Won Woo Choi presented a five-session analysis of combined pico laser melasma treatment at the Korean Dermatological Association meeting, showing results more than 40% faster than conventional toning — about 5–7 pico sessions to 10 of laser toning.
