Developed and published
CeraXosome was developed by Dr. Won Woo Choi (CutisBio). The mechanism work was published in Experimental Dermatology and presented at the World Congress for Hair Research 2026. It is patented in Korea with an international application filed, made by precision fermentation with no petrochemicals or preservatives, and suitable for men and women.
In an ex vivo human-follicle study, hair-shaft growth rate rose about 40% and thickness about 30%. Mechanism data (IGF-1, VEGF, Wnt/β-catenin) were presented at WCHR 2026 and published in Experimental Dermatology.
Questions about this treatment
How often are sessions done?
In the clinical program, infiltration is repeated every two weeks. The listed package includes one in-clinic session plus three months of chews; the dermatologist advises how many sessions fit your case.
Does it hurt?
Lidocaine spray is applied to the hairline (and crown if treated) three minutes before the microneedle infiltration.
Individual results vary. Side effects are possible — every treatment starts with a dermatologist consultation.
