Rejuran in Seoul: what it does, how we use it at Wells, and what it costs
What Rejuran actually does inside the skin, why Wells uses the HB+ formula, how it pairs with skin botox as Rejuran Tox, and what the listed price includes.

What is Rejuran, and why do so many visitors ask for it by name?
Most people who message us about Rejuran have already seen it somewhere — a friend's glow after a Seoul trip, a clinic list, a search for a "Korean skin booster". What they usually can't find is a plain explanation of what it does and whether it is the right thing for their skin. That is what this article is for.
Rejuran is a skin booster based on polynucleotide (PN), a salmon-derived molecule. In the formula we use at Wells, Rejuran HB+, the polynucleotide works on the skin's internal environment and restores its structure: elasticity in both the epidermis and dermis increases, fine lines and texture smooth out, and the oil–moisture balance normalises so the skin looks hydrated rather than shiny. Added hyaluronic acid strengthens the hydration further.
In other words, Rejuran is not a filler and it is not a toxin. It does not add volume and it does not freeze a muscle. It works on the quality of the skin itself, which is why people describe the result as "my skin looks healthier" rather than "my face looks different".
Who Rejuran suits — and who I would send to a different treatment
At the consultation I look at three things: texture, hydration and fine lines. Rejuran suits the skin that has lost its bounce — dull, dehydrated, rough to the touch, with early fine lines around the eyes and cheeks and pores that look larger than they used to. Those are exactly the concerns our Rejuran Tox protocol is designed for.
- A good match: rough texture and enlarged pores, fine lines around the eyes and cheeks, dull or dehydrated skin that needs regeneration.
- A partial match: deep wrinkles or sagging. Rejuran improves the skin over them, but the lift itself comes from a different category — I would talk to you about lifting options instead of selling you a booster.
- Not the tool: hollows that need volume. That is a filler question, and I would rather say so at the consultation than have you leave with the wrong expectation.
Rejuran HB+ vs Rejuran Healer: why Wells uses the HB+ formula
Rejuran comes in more than one formulation, and the one you will hear about most is the original Rejuran Healer. At Wells we inject Rejuran HB+, which combines the polynucleotide with hyaluronic acid and lidocaine. The hyaluronic acid adds hydration; the lidocaine is about comfort.
That comfort difference is measurable. In the data we rely on, lidocaine in the HB+ formula cut post-injection pain by an average of 53% on the VAS scale compared with Rejuran Healer. For a treatment that is repeated as a course, that matters more than it sounds — the second and third sessions are much easier to keep when the first one was not painful.
| Rejuran Healer | Rejuran HB+ | |
|---|---|---|
| Active ingredient | Polynucleotide (PN) | Polynucleotide (PN) |
| Hyaluronic acid | — | Added, for hydration |
| Lidocaine | — | In the formula — 53% less post-injection pain on average (VAS) |
| Course we recommend | — | Four sessions at 2–3 week intervals |

Rejuran works underneath; it does not do much for the surface finish on its own. That is why our signature protocol, Rejuran Tox, pairs Rejuran HB+ (3 cc) with skin botox (3 cc) in the same visit. The Rejuran works on regeneration, moisture and elasticity underneath. The skin botox — micro-dosed toxin spread across the surface — smooths fine lines, refines pores and improves sebum and texture on top.
The two have different strengths — one rebuilds from inside, the other refines the surface — so combining them targets fine lines, pores and texture in a single protocol. Both are done in one session, so the inner condition and the surface finish improve together instead of on two separate trips.
Choosing the toxin: Nabota or Allergan
You choose the toxin that goes with your Rejuran. Nabota is Korean-made; Allergan is the original Botox brand. Both are genuine and dosed by the dermatologist — tell us your preference on WhatsApp and we plan around it.

For Rejuran HB+ we recommend four sessions at 2–3 week intervals. That is the honest constraint for a visitor: a full course does not fit into a long weekend. What we do instead is plan around your dates.
- Message us on WhatsApp or Instagram with your concern and travel dates — you get a suggested plan and an appointment time before you travel.
- At the consultation the dermatologist confirms whether Rejuran, Rejuran Tox or something else fits, and confirms the price.
- Tell us your flight dates and the dermatologist advises on timing around the injection.
- If you are in Seoul for longer, or come back, sessions are spaced 2–3 weeks apart.

Wells is at 8F, Apgujeong Building, 842 Nonhyeon-ro, Gangnam-gu — Subway Line 3 to Apgujeong Station, Exit 3, about five minutes on foot. We are open Monday to Friday 10:00–20:00 and Saturday 10:00–17:00, closed on Sundays and Korean public holidays. Details on the clinic page.
Why have Rejuran done by a dermatologist
Rejuran is an injection, and every injection at Wells is placed by a board-certified dermatologist, with genuine products and a preference for cannula over needle where that is safer. The three of us who run the clinic are all board-certified; my own training was at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, where I was a clinical instructor and assistant professor in dermatology before opening my own clinics. You can read all three profiles on the doctors page.
Individual results vary, and side effects are possible with any injectable — which is exactly why every Rejuran treatment here starts with a dermatologist consultation rather than a menu order. If Rejuran is not the right answer for your skin, you will hear that from me first.
